Mary's practice has focused on environmental issues for eighteen years.  Her practice areas include air quality, industrial siting, water quality, and environmental compliance and permitting.  Mary has represented large and small clients in environmental matters, including both defense and prosecution of citizen suits.  She is a frequent speaker and author on environmental subjects and currently serves as the Wyoming Bar's Trustee to the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.

Mary joined Hickey & Evans in 1999, becoming a partner in 2002.  In 2006, Mary became Of Counsel, following her election to the Wyoming House of Representatives.  Mary serves on the Judiciary Committee and worked extensively on Wyoming's carbon sequestration bills adopted during the 2008 session. 

Mary is a native of Campbell County, Wyoming and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1982 from Princeton University and her law degree in 1988 from the Columbia School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review.   Following law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Reena Raggi of the Eastern District of New York.  She began her practice in Denver as an associate in a large Denver firm, before returning to Wyoming to work as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wyoming, representing the Department of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Division.   

Mary and her husband Kevin Boyce have three sons.  She enjoys traveling and following her boys' school and sports activities.
